Job Description Job Title: Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant
Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate : $225 - $230/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant for a locum tenens assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant: • Provide anesthesia services as a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) in a medically directed practice setting
• Must have Level I Trauma experience as a CRNA or CAA - no exceptions
• Perform anesthesia for general surgery, orthopedic, neurosurgery, trauma, OB, and cardiac procedures
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and perioperative staff
• Provide coverage for adult and older adult patient populations
• Utilize Epic EMR system for all clinical documentation - Epic experience required
• Work within an academic/training hospital environment
• Maintain active state licensure and NCCAA board certification
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
• Work Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM on a 5x8 schedule
• Complete credentialing requirements within the required timeframe
• Ensure CV/work history is submitted in mm/yy-mm/yy format with explanations for any gaps over 30 days
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccine requirements (medical/religious exemptions only)
